The human energetic system is mainly composed of a vertical energetic axis which runs through our spine from the perineum (the region between the genitals and the anus), up to the top of our head. This is our main energetic channel and it is called in India the Sushumna Nadi. On this channel, at different levels there are seven energetic centers (named chakras) that represent our link to the "reality" and the universe(s). They are located as shown in the image .

One can identify the nodal axis with Sushumna Nadi, the energetic central channel that runs through our spine. On this channel, the six chakras are projected at different levels as shown in the image on the left. The seventh chakra, the crown chakra, called Sahasrara chakra is not shown in the natal chart, it couldn't be, as it doesn't relate with the material level, only with the higher spiritual worlds. It is transcendental and represents our link to the Divinity.

The highest and most complete forms of spirituality do not reject the body, but see it as the vehicle for the transmutation of the body and the spirit together.

It is, according to Shakta Tantric doctrine, the seat of Kundalini,
the latent cosmic energy or shakti that resides in every living being.
When this latent power is activated through Hatha Yoga practicises
(pranayama, purification of the nadis, etc), it rises through each of the rear or spinal chakras,
and up through the top of the head, to the Sahasrara or "Thousand Petalled Lotus" located above the crown.
There it unites with its opposite polarity, the Paramashiva or Supreme Godhead Consciousness, and the yogi attains total Liberation from phenomenal reality.

Colours associated with this chakra are red, yellow, and golden.
It could be considered the bliss centre for physical body.

Psalm 1.— When a woman is pregnant and fears a premature delivery, or a dangerous confinement, she should write or cause to be writ¬ten, on a piece of parchment prepared from the pure skin of a deer, the three first verses of the above Psalm, together with the hidden holy name and appropriate prayer contained therein, and place it in a small bag made expressly for that purpose, and suspend it by a string about the neck, so that the bag will rest against her naked body.

Psalm 2.— Should you be exposed to danger in a storm at sea, and your life threatened, then recite this Psalm without delay and very reverently.

Psalm 3.— Whosoever is subject to severe headache and backache, let him pray this Psalm, with the leading holy names and appropriate prayer contained therein, over a small quantity of olive oil, anoint the head or back while in the act of prayer. This will afford immediate relief.

Psalm 4.— If you have been unlucky hitherto, in spite of every effort, then you should pray this Psalm three times before the rising of the Sun, with humility and devotion, while at the same time you should im¬press upon your mind its ruling holy name, and each time the appropriate prayer, trusting in the help of the mighty Lord, without whose will not the least creature can perish. Proceed in peace to execute your contem¬plated undertaking, and all things will result to your entire satisfaction.

Psalm 5.— If you have business to transact with your magistrates or with your princes, and desire to obtain their special favor, then pray this Psalm early at the rising of the Sun and in the evening at sunset. Do this three times over pure olive oil, while at the same time you think un¬ceasingly, upon the holy name.

Psalm 6.— With this Psalm all diseases of the eye may be healed. Read the Psalm for three days successively, and pray the prescribed prayer seven times slowly, in a low tone, and with devotion, and with this keep continually in your mind the holy name.

Psalm 7.— When evil persons conspire to render you unfortunate, if your enemies watch for an opportunity to overthrow you, if they pursue you in order to harm you, then take upon the spot where you stand a handful of earth or dust, pray this Psalm and keep in your mind the holy name .

Psalm 8.— If you wish to secure the love and good will of all men in your business transactions, you should pray this Psalm three days in succession after sundown, and think continually of the holy name .

Psalm 9.— The principal attribute of this Psalm according to the precept is, that it is an unfailing remedy in the restoration of male chil¬dren, who are feeble in health, when no medicines and help are at hand. This Psalm should also be prayed against the power and malignity of enemies. In the first instance write this Psalm, with its holy name, upon pure parchment, with a new pen, and hang it around the patient's neck. Afterward repeat the prayer with reverence, and think at fee same time of the holy name .

Psalm 10.— If any one is plagued with an unclean, restless and evil spirit, let him fill a new earthen pot with water from the spring, and, in the name of the patient, pour into it pure olive oil, and pronounce over it this Psalm nine times, keeping in mind constantly the adorable name.

AGLA

Agla (Hebrew, Jewish). This Kabbalistic word is a talisman composed of the initals of the four words "Ateh Gibor Leolam Adonai", meaning "Thou art mighty for ever 0 Lord". MacGregor Mathers explains it thus "A, the first; A, the last; G, the trinity in unity; L, the completion of the great work".
A Kabbalistic word that was used by rabbis in the practice of exorcism of evil spirits. It is composed of the four initial letters of the Hebrew words Athah gobon leolam, Adonai meaning "Thou art powerful and eternal, Lord.

Air~~this is the element of magicke. People born under astrological air signs of Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra are dreamers and almost always believe in miracles. Those individuals born under astrological earth signs of Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn have both feet firmly planted on the ground. Very often, they also have their hands in the ground, too. They tend to be great gardeners and to find gardening ver therapeutic. The earth is capable of giving us love and nurturing and life itself if we take care of it and give the proper homage. When the earth elemental is angered, though, earthquakes can result. In your magickal circle, the earth elemental governs the North.
This elemental spirit is embodied by a Gnome.

*Water~~Water is the element of intuition and nurturing. For nine months we all live in a warm, safe amniotic sac of saltwater. It is said that all life comes from the Sea. We believe this is true. Water is the element of healing. The sea works hand in hand with the Earth and is really a kindred spirit. The astrological signs governed by water, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces, tend to be loners. They are one with the sea and are often good fishermen (or women). The Water Elemental will assist you in magickal workings honoring lunar gods and goddesses, power, psychic growth, sex, music, art, telepathy and dreams.This elemental governs the Western quarter of your magickal circle and is manifested as an Undine.

*Fire~~Fire is the element of feeling and passion. Fire can sustain life or take it in the blink of an eye. The fire elemental is a fascinating one. We have known people who are one with the fire elemental and they can do amazing things with fire. Prometheus was bound to a rock atop a craggy peak and doomed to have his liver pecked out by an eagle each day for all of eternity because he took fire from the gods and gave it to man. The elemental of fire assists you in magickal workings regarding authority, rebirth, leadership, courage, fertility, the spine, the heart, and truth. It is said that there is a fifth element. This element is called by different names by different peoples. Some Witches call it Akasha. Japanese Buddhists call it Chi(pronounced "key"). Whatever name you may call it, it means Spirit. The spirit or heart of the Witch. This elemental spirit is manifested by whatever image your deep mind gives it. It is you and the power you are able to direct toward your magickal objective.

The reason we mention the elements in so much detail is that if you are considering the practice of magicke, then you will need to know the elements and their representatives intimately. No magickal working will be complete (or successful) without the conjuring of the Lords of the Quarters. A Witch must know and understand the elements and understand how to call upon them for their help in magickal endeavors. Without them all spells would be incomplete.
